Welcome to The Tutoring Collective! Formed by Laurie Marvald 15 years ago, we have recently expanded our TutorMatch™ service to help alleviate the problems so many NYC parents are experiencing in this New Normal. including remote or in-person tutoring with mutually agreed safety protocols.

Designed like a bespoke matchmaking service, Laurie has a unique insight that creates a match based upon academic needs and the student’s interests. Laurie’s famed TutorMatch service has helped over 12,000 families. Now, Laurie has expanded the offering to deal with the dire educational situation brought on by the pandemic.

The Tutoring Collective has a diverse network of tutors that each bring specially selected skills and interests to augment their qualifications. In addition, all tutors are graduates from prestigious schools with high level degrees.

Location

Tutors will work remotely with students anywhere, or in person with adherence to strict safety guidelines.

Curriculum

Work can include current curriculum as well as enrichment and future curriculum.

Private or Social

Sessions can be one-on-one or in small groups to help reduce feelings of isolation that social distancing can induce.

Available

Tutors are available days and evenings, 7 days a week.
